ALS claimed my mother last night at approximately 11:15.

My step-dad and I were with her when she went.

Richard, I don't know you, or your blog very well yet, although I have you on my list of blogs. But in visiting today I saw this message. Very sorry about your loss. My condolences to you and your family. I hope your mom's passing was gentle and that your family is embraced in loving-kindness.

No words will console how you feel right now. I lost my mother two years ago, my father ten years ago. In time, the pain heals and the great memories become what you remember. But that is in time. For no, there are no words...
