I came upon a spot in the wood
where side by side,
the silver creek between,
two oak trees of mighty height
like aery pillars stood.
The west'ring sun
bathed each in light
of a lucid amber hue -
And it seemed to me,
my eyes lolling
from tree to tree,
that I had never witnessed
so fine a view.

SO beautiful. Only if we could visit a place
such as this.
aloha to you.
Aloha to you also, Shyloh.
I have been fortunate to visit a place equally as beautiful as Parrish's painting, one difference being that the grandest trees are redwood and not oak - Big Sur on the California coast.
elegant piece.
love it.
Thank you, GG!
