After all my blathering (or discoursing, as I prefer to think of it) in the entry below regarding writing and my dedication to the pen, I have fallen in love with another art - photography. This is really not any kind of infidelity, as I seem on the verge of framing my new passion. I have always been a dabbler in various media: pencil and paper (evidenced by the doodles I post here from time to time), clay, and even music (guitar, strumstick, I have even been known to sing).
But, since my purchase of a digital camera a few weeks back, the drive to document the world around me via photographs has been on par, or nearly so, with my need to write. What's more, though I have been nothing more than an occasional snap-shot taker all of my life, I seem to have some facility for the art of photography - though I would admit to being nothing more than the rankest of amateurs. I do refer to photography as an art advisedly, though I haven't time at the moment to elaborate (and you no doubt, whoever you are, have no time to read an elaboration). I find, as I type, that I have a desire to elaborate because, somewhere in my mind apparently, there is a question regarding whether or not photography is an art. I know, however, that it is and will no doubt explore the subject as I take more pictures.
Speaking of which, here are a few shots from my Flickr photostream (as they call it) representative of what I've been doing with my camera:

If you like what you see, and even if you don't, you can see more of it here.
Or if you prefer, and also if you don't, there is a new transcription posted at Universal Radio!
Have fun and be responsible whatever you do!
